In June 2019 I was asked by the Stoke-on-Trent BID team to take part in their ‘Our Front Door’ project. I was one of twenty local artists asked to paint a door or doorway in Hanley city centre.
I chose to paint the ‘Hanley Giant’; a large girl peering through the window panels of my door. I asked the organisers for an old fashioned door with panels so viewers could look into the the space beyond the door.
